Reports of Samsung Galaxy Note 7 devices exploding while being charged, the company has suspended production of the phone, marking another setback to the South Korean major.
Samsung’s decision was done in cooperation with authorities in the United States, and China, as two US carriers have stopped exchanging or selling new Note 7 phones. The company had earlier recalled over 2.5 million Galaxy Note 7 smartphones worldwide, costing it more than $1 billion in losses.
